Welcome to Worklife
Stephen Welfare

With the NHS undergoing unprecedented levels of change, it is more vital than ever to keep workforce and HR colleagues informed about the latest developments in our region. This fifth edition of Worklife does just that, as well as celebrate the achievements of members of our workforce.

Changes to the NHS have also meant that Worklife will no longer come in a printed form, providing a cost saving and lessening the environmental impacts of the publication. We hope you will find the digital version just as enjoyable to read. And of course, please do give us your feedback for future editions – your opinion is very valuable to us.

Stephen Welfare, Director of Workforce and Deputy Chief Executive, NHS East of England.
